About
Hi, my name is Roshin. I have worked for more than 18 years across residential treatment settings, outpatient programs, and private practice, supporting individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. Much of my work has been working with adults struggling with substance use disorders and supporting the whole family unit as they navigate through reintegration. I also provide therapy for co-occurring mental health issues, phase of life, adjustment issues, trauma, and marriage and family conflict. I believe that lasting recovery begins when a person is ready and willing to change. I strive to create a space that feels warm, supportive, and collaborative, while also encouraging accountability and forward movement.

I currently offer virtual sessions only.

Experience
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Mumbai, India. I began my career in chemical dependency treatment in India, working in a 100-bed residential facility where I provided individual, group, and family therapy, led trainings and workshops, served in a supervisory role, and maintained a private practice.
I have worked for over a decade in California. I offered services in a correctional treatment setting in Southern California. I also have extensive experience providing therapy services in the Bay Area. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LAADC), qualified to treat individuals, couples, and families.
Approaches
My approach is culturally sensitive, trauma informed, and holistic. I view emotional and behavioral concerns as shaped by life experiences, stress, beliefs, and relationships, not as isolated problems. Therapy focuses on understanding and addressing these deeper influences rather than only managing symptoms. My goal is to help clients heal at a core level while building stability, resilience, and a healthier quality of life. My work centers on helping individuals and families create meaningful and sustainable change through practical, compassionate, and evidence-based care.

A strong therapeutic relationship is central to this process. I use a person-centered approach to create trust and meaningful connection. I am primarily a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) therapist. I also draw from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Interpersonal Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Transactional Analysis (TA) as needed. Each person is unique and so treatment is always tailored to the individual rather than expecting the client to fit into a specific mold.
